Shipping/Receiving Truck Driver

CDL Class A Truck Driver to support hauling product safely from our local warehouse to our production facility, and flatbed loads.    This is a Midnight shift position-based position to cover company specialty load needs.

Responsibilities


* Must demonstrate the ability to maneuver tractor/trailer in and out of docks & drop lots safe & accurately.


* Verifiable previous experience in trailer and flatbed operations


* Must understand procedures and comply with all policies & procedures at Company sites.


* Must be able to perform pre-& post inspection and properly fill out provided documentation.


* Must deliver in timely fashion as judged by dispatcher, supervisor.


* Must be able to understand and operate computer system.


* Must be able to work the hours necessary in order to achieve the goals of the company.


* Observes safety and security procedures; reports potentially unsafe conditions


* Demonstrates attention to detail.


* Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness; meets productivity standards.


* Perform all other responsibilities as assigned as necessary for company to support company operations including as temporary fill in for other driving positions.

Qualifications


* Verifiable previous experience in trailer and flatbed operations


* Must have a current commercial driver’s license with clean driving record


* Must have a current DOT medical card.


* Must be willing, on occasion, to deliver dedicated daily runs due to last minute call-ins, vacations, etc.
