Works to achieve operational goals with direct impact on achievement of results within area of work on the R&D Software / Systems Engineering team.
Collaborates with team members to plan, estimate, and write clear requirements and acceptance criteria.
Develops, tests, deploys, and maintains software and documents issues encountered.
Identifies product design features to support scalability, usability, and improved performance.
Delivers technical reports, technical memoranda, and other documents for internal and external distribution.
Coaches more junior colleagues in techniques, processes, and responsibilities.​
Understands and applies Johnson & Johnson’s Credo and Leadership Imperatives in day-to-day interactions with team.

Primary Responsibilities:


* Design and implement embedded software for a class II medical device


* Construction and maintenance of software requirements


* Design and implementation of software interfaces


* Test case development, unit and integration testing


* Leading and participating in design reviews, code reviews and system integration activities


* Manages large projects or processes with limited oversight from manager


* Coach, review and delegate work to lower-level professionals


* Collaborate on a multidisciplinary team including internal and external resources
