What You'll Do


* Follow safety regulations (PPE)


* Pass 2G FCAW weld certification


* Interpret blueprints, follow weld procedures and measurements to plan layouts


* Weld small and large components


* Use overhead cranes


* Weld components in flat and horizontal position

Welders are also responsible for studying blueprints related to the items they will work on, ensuring that all needed materials are available, and maintaining the welding tools they use.

Education/Experience: (an equivalent combination of education and experience required to successfully complete the primary accountabilities is indicated below)

Degree: High School Diploma or in process of obtaining

Years of Experience: 0-1 Area: Welding and Fabrication

Core Competencies: Welding Certificates, Blueprint Reading
