RN - Pre/Post Surgery
90% FTE, Monday - Friday, 8 hour shifts with rotating start times between the hours of 5:30am - 9:00am.
No holidays, weekends, on-call or overnights.
Hours may vary based on the operational needs of the department.

We are seeking a Registered Nurse - Pre/Post/PACU to:
* Deliver comprehensive perioperative and peri anesthesia care across several surgical specialties, including ENT, Cataracts, Pain, Hand, Foot, Ortho (scopes), General, and some GYN.
* Provide comprehensive care for surgical patients by preparing them for surgery.
This includes Perioperative Checklists, IV placement and Medication Administration.
* Provide care in the Outpatient PACU.
Critical care experience preferred.
* Develop a therapeutic relationship to enable the patient and family to verbalize understanding of post-surgical care and discharge teaching.

Qualifications
* Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN) Required
* Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) Preferred
Work Experience
* 6 months of RN experience Required
* Experience working pre/post operatively with varied surgical patient populations Preferred
* Emergency nursing, critical care, medical/surgical, or ambulatory surgery center experience Preferred
* Moderate sedation and cardiac monitoring experience Preferred
* 1 year or more of RN experience Preferred
Licenses & Certifications
* Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state(s) where patients are receiving care or may work as eligible per state licensing regulations Upon Hire Required
* Basic Life Support/CPR Upon Hire Required
* Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Upon Hire Required
