What you will do

The Associate Scientist, Skin Health & Beauty will have responsibility for product development across various Skin Health categories including facial moisturizers and treatments, makeup, SPF, and acne/cleansing as well as support for post launch projects.

Strong communication skills together with the ability to manage complexity are must have prerequisites.

The candidate will provide strategic and operational skills in the execution of regional and global projects, including analyzing the new consumer insight to build a strategic innovation pipeline.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead innovative end to end skin health & beauty development projects

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure product quality and performance standards are met

• Stay current on industry trends and technologies to drive product innovation

• Present findings and recommendations to senior management and key stakeholders

• Lead the identification and assessment of external innovation partners to develop innovative products.

• Drive continuous improvement in the development of new materials, processes, and products to ensure quality and efficiency

• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to define, design, and implement new makeup features

• Performs assigned scientific experiments focused on learning business, process and systems.

• Follows day-to-day objectives and performs routine tasks according to established procedures.

• Recommends minor modifications to existing systems, processes, techniques or programs for improvement.

• Task oriented and works under direct supervision with minimal autonomy; Executes under direction of an expert and offers scientific and technical insight.

• Works on projects in collaboration with others.
