Test Engineer Manager

You will be responsible for shaping the strategic direction of our testing practice, mentoring engineers, and implementing cutting-edge automation frameworks that scale with our products.

Essential Job Functions:  


* Lead and mentor a team of test engineers, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement. 



* Architect and maintain robust, scalable, and maintainable test automation frameworks using Selenium, Python, and modern CI/CD pipelines. 



* Leverage AI tools like GitHub Copilot to accelerate test development and improve code quality. 



* Define and drive the future vision of testing within the organization, including AI-driven testing, predictive analytics, and autonomous test generation. 



* Collaborate with cross-functional teams (DevOps, Product, Development) to ensure quality is embedded throughout the SDLC. 



* Identify opportunities for process optimization and lead initiatives to implement change. 



* Stay ahead of industry trends and emerging technologies to keep the team and tools future-ready. 



* Design and implement automated dashboards and reporting systems to track test coverage, defect trends, automation ROI, and release readiness. 



* Define and monitor key quality metrics (e.g., test pass/fail rates, defect leakage, test execution time, automation coverage). 



* Provide regular reports and insights to leadership and stakeholders to support data-driven decision-making. 



* Use metrics to identify bottlenecks, forecast risks, and continuously improve testing efficiency and effectiveness. 



* Promote a metrics-driven culture within the testing team to ensure transparency, accountability, and continuous improvement. 

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:  


* 10+ years of experience in software testing, with a strong focus on test automation. 



* Deep expertise in Selenium WebDriver, Python, and test automation frameworks. 



* Experience using AI-assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot) in a testing context. 



* Proven leadership experience managing and scaling testing or test automation teams. 



* Strong understanding of CI/CD, version control (Git), and cloud-based testing environments. 



* Excellent communication skills and the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
