In this role, you will:


* Define and deliver best-in-class Hana database Platforms for SAP S/4 Hana.


* Configuration, Documentation, Testing, Delivery and Maintenance of enterprise scale IT Infrastructures for SAP S/4 Hana (Scope includes work among SAP and non-SAP Systems and Applications).


* Manage service requests seamlessly within and outside of SAP, such as incidents or changes to configuration elements (CIs).


* Operate in close partnership with the IT and business communities, subject matter experts, external consultants, cross functional teams, add-ons, etc.


* Create and execute outcome-oriented strategies and build/sustain meaningful business relationships.


* implement, configure, monitor, tune, and troubleshoot the SAP technology landscape, and corporate SAP HANA database environments.


* Operates as the in-house expert on highly complex systems and projects.

Leads and provides guidance to Application Developers and business partner DBA levels I and II.


* Monitor, maintain, document processes/resolutions to issues, predict SAP Applications performance to meet established service levels, and schedule/execute the SAP system housekeeping and monitoring.


* Responsible for troubleshooting SAP HANA issues.


* Responsible for rapid repair and recovery in system failure situations.


* Responsible for tracking and managing all security certificates and licenses for SAP HANA.


* Responsible for implementation and testing of SAP HANA Database patches and SAP HANA Database upgrades utilizing a structured methodology.


* Perform SAP system refresh and related configuration as needed.


* Introduce technical changes into the environment using a structured approach that minimizes risk and achieves high reliability, availability, and performance of each SAP HANA Database.


* Establishes maintenance plans for each SAP HANA Database, to include backups and recovery.


* Maintain the existing SAP Landscape diagrams and document all database processes.


* Optimizes SAP application and database performance to ensure a high-level of performance.


* Ensures that all actions follow established internal controls and change management processes.


* Responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining disaster recovery plans in compliance with the departmental and organizational disaster recovery plans.
