Application Development Senior Advisors- Hybrid

The job profile for this position is Application Development Senior Advisor, which is a Band 4 Contributor Career Track Role with Cigna -Evernorth Services Inc.

Responsibilities-


* Devise requirements, design specifications, and usage criteria to implement big data solutions for cloud platforms.


* Perform full-stack code development.


* Support an Agile team with current tools and open- source technologies.


* Design and develop RESTful APIs, data applications, and event driven services.

Assess business needs, system needs, and external system design.


* Identify application architecture solutions and opportunities for new/modified programs.


* Reuse existing code using program development software alternatives and integration of purchased solutions/combination of alternatives.


* Design end-to- end (E2E) technical architecture of projects.


* Assemble and integrate projects into Information Technology (IT) architecture principles.


* Vet data-related technology options in cloud-based services.


* Identify new use cases and development of cloud-based solutions.


* Develop tools to process search for providers from various lines of business and make data available to downstream applications.


* Utilize cloud-based applications to transform data, build data lakes, and automate E2E workflow of pipelines.


* Propose and perform technical changes to existing workflows, develop code templates for solutions working to solve similar use cases, and utilize existing architecture for Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD).

Provide effort estimations and timeline commitments in large group coordinated planning sessions.


* Research and evaluate alternative solutions and recommend the most efficient programming solutions.


* Hybrid work schedule.

Qualifications-

Position requires a bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or related plus four years of software development experience.

Experience must include AWS, Node.js, MongoDB, Java, RESTful APIs, JavaScript, Git, HTTP, JSON, Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA), Eclipse, VSCode, Spring, Spring Boot, Ajax, JIRA, Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD), and Agile.

If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.
