Facility Maintenance Technician

FACILITY MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN

The Facility Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing various general labor activities that provide assistance at the jobsite.

RESPONSIBILITIES


* Performs small concrete repairs on sidewalks and plant roadways.


* Maintains all buildings, including remodels and painting interior and exterior.


* Small construction projects.

Including carpentry, flooring, cabinet installation, and plumbing.


* Fulfills all safety requirements.


* Completes and files all necessary paperwork.


* Other duties as assigned.


* Willing to work all shifts, including weekends, holidays, evening and 24-hour emergency on call.

Education/Experience : High School Diploma or GED.

Licenses/Certifications: Valid Driver's License or Class B CDL.

Other licenses (may vary according to specific s ite and assignments): SCBA, Confined Space, Confined Space Rescue, Crane and Forklift Operator, Rigging, Metal Cutting, Skill Assessment rating of 100%, Class C wastewater license, MX tech 3 Certification

Technical : Ability to follow manual & operating instructions.

Knowledge of process control techniques, maintenance procedures & safety practices.

Ability to perform routine maintenance/repairs.

Ability to work with required tools (including jackhammer, demolishing saw, etc.).

Comfortable in and around water/raw sewage.

Communication : Communicates clearly & professionally.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
