Account Executive

This role requires a proactive, self-motivated individual with excellent communication and negotiation skills, capable of managing the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing deals.

This role is ideal for someone looking to start or advance their career in sales and business development.

Responsibilities:


* Assist in the development and execution of sales strategies to achieve and exceed sales targets.


* Promptly respond to and qualify inbound leads generated through various channels (e.g., website, events, referrals).


* Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities and potential clients.


* Support the preparation of sales presentations, proposals, and other sales materials.


* Schedule and conduct client meetings, including initial consultations and follow-up meetings.


* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure client needs are met and exceeded.


* Maintain accurate records of client interactions and sales activities in the CRM system.


* Participate in sales training and team meetings to enhance sales skills and knowledge of Verisk products and services.

Qualifications:


* Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.


* 0-2 years of experience in sales, business development, or a related field.


* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.


* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.


* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).


* Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.


* Enthusiasm for learning and growing within the company

Preferred Qualifications:


* Experience in the insurance, analytics, or data services industry.


* Knowledge of CRM software.


* Proven track record of achieving sales targets.
