Financial Analyst

What We're Looking For:

Michael Baker International is seeking a Financial Analyst to join the team in our Rocky Hill, CT office.

The successful candidate will serve as a project administrator and expeditor assisting the Office Executive, Department Managers, and Project Managers in coordination with the Project Accountant.

This role is essential in ensuring the smooth operation of financial and administrative processes.

A Hybrid working arrangement is available within the US

What You'll Do:


* Support the preparation, review, and submission of customer invoices


* Monitor outstanding receivables and follow up with clients to ensure timely payments


* Assist with the configuration and maintenance of customer and project records in Oracle


* Coordinate the preparation and tracking of ATPs


* Collect, review, and maintain up-to-date insurance certificates and related documentation


* Support the tracking and reporting of project budgets, expenditures, and forecasts


* Prepare materials and data for PSR meetings


* Provide assistance with various administrative tasks and special projects as assigned

What You Need to Succeed:


* Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field


* 0-3 years of experience


* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Work, Outlook); experience with Oracle is a plus


* Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities


* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Compensation:

The approximate compensation range for this position $61,251 - $83,608 per year.

This compensation range is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting.

Actual compensation is dependent upon factors such as education, qualifications, experience, skillset, and physical work location.
