Software Engineering Senior Advisors- Hybrid

The job profile for this position is Software Engineering Senior Advisor, which is a Band 4 Contributor Career Track Role with Cigna -Evernorth Services Inc.

Responsibilities-


* Research, design, develop, and modify enterprise-wide systems and applications for Amazon Web Services (AWS) Cloud to promote reusability globally.


* Document business requirements in the form of architecture and entity relationship diagrams.


* Produce code for back, middle, and front-end applications at all stages of the project life cycle.


* Implement tools and techniques to monitor and tune database performance, scalability, and security.


* Process flow charts and functional flow diagrams.


* Perform Proof of Concept on new and upcoming technologies to enhance performance and end-user experience.


* Build automated deployment platforms using Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) processes.


* Drive automation and integration with CI/CD tools for continuous validation.

Create and optimize infrastructure performance metrics to automate manual data object creation and test cases.


* Support associated code and data migration projects by architecting end-to-end (E2E) data ingestion and transformation needs.


* Deploy and develop E2E cloud applications and services.


* Migrate existing dashboards and application/web servers to AWS.


* Use automation tools to triage bugs and system failures, address quality issues, and find bottlenecks and thresholds in existing code.


* Map user stories to detailed technical specifications.


* Articulate clear business objectives aligned to technical specifications.

Complete peer code reviews to identify code defects and work with other developers to address quality issues.


* Hybrid work schedule.

Qualifications-

Position requires a bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related plus four years of experience in software development.

Must have experience within the healthcare domain.

Experience must include AWS Cloud, Continuous Integration Continuous Delivery(CI/CD), Hadoop (Hive/Impala), SAS, Python, Databricks, Snowflake, Terraform, Spark, Ansible, DB2, Oracle, Teradata, UNIX, GIT, and Agile methodology.

If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.
