BOR Hearing Officer-Seasonal - Lucas County Auditor's Office

Department Overview

The duty of this department is to aid and inform taxpayers (general public, other government entities, etc.) with the Board of Revision.  The Board of Revision (“BOR”) department assists the BOR with all clerical duties associated with the BOR process from application through appeal decision.

Position Summary

The BOR Hearing Officer-Seasonal serves the Lucas County Auditor’s Office as an unclassified, at-will position and reports directly to the Auditor and serves as the Auditor’s representative to the BOR.  This position also serves to support real estate related inquiries and issues that arise, answering/resolving staff and citizen issues.  Sound interpersonal communication skills, both written and verbal, are critical to the success of this role.
