The Project Manager is accountable for the management of supply chain activities and resources that are needed for cost-efficient tech transfer, regional or global launch and supply sustainability of New Products.

This position will be accountable to lead one or more projects under the active guidance of the supervisor.

This position supports assigned commercially marketed products and/or compounds within a specific business group or product portfolio, and assists with multiple aspects of product strategy, supply chain management, and inventory management for the assigned portfolio.

The Project Manager will support project work across multiple product portfolios.

Product portfolio may consist of multiple mature products, small to medium total sales, with a medium impact of a potential recall or stock out.

Products are typically manufactured on existing stable production platforms and are usually not part of a licensing or other alliance.

Key responsibilities:



* Accountable for the flawless transfer of new products and processes from R&D or other transferring partners into the Supply Chain (J&J or external) and the launch of products into regional or global commercial markets, including post-launch supply continuity.


* Leads global, cross-functional team effectively.


* Provides structure, direction and decision making to the team.


* With oversight and input, defines actions that need to be taken to achieve project objectives.
