What are we looking for?

The Geotechnical Project Engineer - Construction is responsible for performing a variety of assignments that include evaluations using standard techniques, procedures and criteria; using judgment to make minor adoptions and modifications during work.

What you'll do:


* Prepare preliminary geotechnical reports, scopes, budgets and schedules for projects as per specifications


* Attend client site meetings and communicate effectively with client and project teams


* Work on one or multiple projects at a time


* May perform on-site observations or inspections

Minimum Requirements & Qualifications:


* Master's degree (MS) from an ABET accredited college or university in Geotechnical Engineering


* 5 years' progressive experience in geotechnical consulting


* Professional Engineer (PE) License in Texas


* Valid driver's license and reliable driving record


* Must be able to work off shift and overtime as needed


* May travel up to 15% of time


* Ability to read and understand work plans


* Ability to communicate and interact effectively in verbal & written communication


* Proficiency in engineering software in discipline (GeoStudio, LPILE, APILE, SHAFT, GROUP, SLIDE, Settle3D)

Preferred Requirements & Qualifications:


* PhD from an ABET accredited college or university in Geotechnical Engineering


* Experience with PLAXIS 2D and 3D
