Johnson & Johnson, Robotics and Digital (RAD) Solutions is recruiting for a Senior Mechanical Engineer, R&D Robotics located in Santa Clara, CA.

Overview:

The Senior Mechanical Engineer will work with other members of the design team to craft complex mechanisms, structural but lightweight assemblies, motor driven actuators, and motion transmissions.

This role is responsible for conceptual and detailed CAD design, drawings, related documentation and design specifications.

Work will be focused on deriving and formalizing innovative designs based on user needs and product requirements.

Key team interfaces include electrical engineering, robot controls, system integration, testing, external vendors, and internal manufacturing groups.

This position will be a key technical member of a team chartered with designing a complex robotic system.
