As a Data Owner Associate within the Asset Wealth Management Risk team, you will play a pivotal role in spearheading and overseeing data initiatives that bolster business operations, strategic goals, and sophisticated analytics.

Job Responsibilities:


* Lead and manage data initiatives, ensuring alignment with business goals and strategic objectives.


* Coordinate cross-functional teams to achieve project objectives and ensure effective collaboration.


* Support the implementation of data governance, data products, data publishing standards, and risk management processes under senior leadership guidance


* Execute processes to identify, monitor, and mitigate data risks throughout the data lifecycle, including protection, retention, storage, use, and quality


* Partner with technology and business resources to ensure data sourcing, content, and quality meet established requirements


* Collaborate with teams to investigate root causes of data issues and provide recommendations for remediation


* Mentor and support junior staff in their professional development, contributing to a culture of continuous learning and improvement

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills


* Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related field, OR equivalent professional experience in data management, data governance, or a related field


* 3+ years of experience in data management, data governance, risk management / analytics, or a related field


* Strong understanding of data management principles, data governance frameworks, and data lifecycle management, including data protection, data quality and data classification
