* Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in Quality Management, Engineering, Supply Chain or related field.


* Minimum 10 years of experience in supplier quality or quality leadership roles within the aerospace industry.


* More than 8 years of experience in Quality, Supplier Quality or Supplier Management.


* Experience with supplier auditing, qualifications, and advanced quality tools (APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, LPA).


* Ability to travel domestically and internationally at least 50% of the time.

Preferred Qualifications:


* Master's Degree


* Certified Lead Auditor for AS9100 and/or ISO 9001


* Knowledge and experience in metallurgical processes including casting, machining or coating; a strong material sciences background is a plus.


* Experience managing remote or global teams.


* Aerospace manufacturing background.


* Certifications such as ASQ, CQE, CQA, Six Sigma, or Lean are highly desirable.

Salary Range $160,000 - $200,000, depending on experience and geographical location.The Supplier Quality Director is responsible for developing and leading the supplier quality strategy across all business unit programs (aerospace and industrial gas turbine) to ensure that supplied products meet rigorous aerospace industry standards, customer requirements, and regulatory compliance (including AS9100, FAA, EASA, and related).
