Manager of Analysis
Georgia-Pacific is seeking a Manager of Finance to support our Corrugated Division .This role will be a key contributor of the Corrugated Packaging Financial Planning & Analysis Team.
This role is responsible for evaluating large capital investments and other strategic opportunities.
The Manager reports to a Senior Manager of Analysis and will interact with business leaders and investors as you support the decision-making process.
Location: This position is located at the newly renovated GP HQ in downtown Atlanta, GA.
We have a hybrid schedule of in-office and remote workdays with the expectation of being in the office more often than not.

What You Will Do In Your Role
* Develop and maintain relationships with business leaders and enable sound economic decision-making.
* Frame up investment opportunities, shepherd the decision-making process and present large investment requests to senior leadership and investors.
* Development and review of long-term business strategies.
* Critical thinking capability and framing problems to identify alternative solutions.
* Develop a point of view and suggested paths forward.
* Develop and maintain scorecards highlighting the performance on large capital ventures.
* Review and challenge capital forecasts.
* Coach others on economic thinking principles.
* Provide ad-hoc support on other strategic opportunities.
* Advance the Principles-Based Management® (PBM®) culture by applying and reinforcing the company's Guiding Principles.
Who You Are (Basic Requirements):
* Progressive years of career experience in financial analysis, strategic planning, business development, business decision support, or related roles
* Experience applying strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities; including originating ideas, collecting data, establishing facts, performing analysis, drawing conclusions, and presenting a point of view to key stakeholders and business leaders
