The Innovation & Continuous Improvement Process Specialist will provide technical leadership in area of Tissue process & Materials development to support the delivery of near-term innovation pipeline, optimization of product and cost of manufacture to support the development & execution of IFP business plans for  Asia region.

This role involves creating a vision to influence our innovation and product development strategies, partnering with Supply Chain to solve our toughest technical challenges, and providing technical leadership for the implementation and start-up of new assets, processes and materials.

The ideal candidate is a technical expert with strong leadership skills and a passion for leveraging technology to solve consumer, sustainability & business challenges.

Role Overview & Primary Accountabilities:

Innovation & Technology Roadmap Development:


* Creates a vision for their technology programs to delivery the near-term technology roadmap developments,  consulting with other R&D leaders and IFP Growth & Supply chain leaders in service of delivery of overall IFP Growth strategy & Innovation pipeline.


* Contributes ideas and programs to populate technology roadmaps linking technology developments to potential innovation programs that give our products a competitive advantage from consumer benefit/cost/sustainability point of view and seeks to influence innovation and product development Strategy through sharing this knowledge & expertise.


* Pursues Intellectual Asset  management & strategy to protect KC developments.

Technology Program ownership:


* Leads technology projects & programs to deliver the 0–3-year technology roadmap which will include Innovation, renovation, cost/margin and sustainability activities and will involve working multiple programs in parallel across the different stages of Technology development.


* Acts as a Technical subject matter expert in at least one field of technology.


* Partners with Supply Chain resources to support problem solving & resolution of significant, extraordinary technical issues in our mills that risk to cause significant business disruption.


* Provides R&D leadership for the implementation and successful start-up of any new assets, processes and materials, partnering closely with Engineering, Supply Chain & R&D Product development team...
