As a Hedge Fund Financial Reporting Associate, you will play a crucial role in managing the financial statement reporting process, ensuring accuracy and compliance, and coordinating efforts across various teams.
Your work will directly impact our clients' trust and satisfaction with our services.
Job responsibilities:
* Manage the financial statement reporting process by coordinating efforts of clients, fund accounting, legal, auditors, and fund administration personnel.
* Manage the production of the Fund's annual and quarterly financial statements to clients, auditors, and investors.
* Review all financial statements prior to release to clients and the auditors.
* Assist with audit coordination of the clients' annual reporting process.
* Provide clients and auditors with appropriate supporting documentation for annual statements.
* Ensure 100% evidence of review when preparing and reviewing statements.
* Assist with piecing of 2 accounting platforms to generate financials.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
* Minimum of 3-6 years in the financial services industry and 2-4 years in the hedge fund industry.
* Bachelor's degree required, with a preference for Finance, Accounting, or Economics.
* Strong technical understanding of the investment company industry, including a strong knowledge of GAAP and International Financial Reporting Standards.
* Professional and proactive approach to work, problem solver.
* Leadership and motivation skills.
* Ability to manage change and deliver results.
* Strong communication skills - both verbal and written.
* Advanced analytical skills.
