Commercial Director, Americas

Your Job

Koch Technology Solutions (KTS), a Koch Engineered Solutions company, is looking to add an experienced Commercial Director to develop and lead our capability in the Americas Region.

This role can be remote, but will require time with the team in Wichita, KS.

KTS is a global technology licensing business creating value for our customers across a growing portfolio of technologies.

As a result of this growth, we desire to transform our B2B commercial capabilities in the region.

The successful candidate for this role will be responsible for working with the Business Leaders to implement a commercial strategy across all our technologies and develop a team to execute this.

What You Will Do


* Work with the technology Business Leaders, develop and execute a commercial strategy for the Americas region that aligns with the global vision and objectives of KTS


* Work across a matrix organization to build and lead a high-performing team in support of this vision


* Bring best practice commercial work processes to KTS and share across the global commercial capability


* Identify and prioritize sales opportunities across targeted industries.

Work through all phases of the sales lifecycle.

Build a high-confidence sales funnel, prioritize and systematically convert opportunities to preferred partner focused sales.


* Manage and grow the customer relationships and partnerships in the region.

Understand their needs, challenges and growth opportunities


* Build and leverage strong C Suite relationships with key participants of targeted industries


* Feedback to business leadership market intelligence on trends, unmet market needs, competitor activity and keep our market point of view refreshed


* Identify new opportunities for KTS to grow its technology portfolio.

Champion KTS' brand and capabilities in the region


* Collaborate and communicate effectively with the global KTS leadership team, key internal capabilities and other Koch companies in the region

The Experience You Will Bring

Requirements (Basic Qualifications):


* Demonstrated understanding of diverse process technologies


* Proven ability to implement go-to-market sales strategies in multinational, high-value markets.


* Experience developing sales teams, achieving year-over-year growth and meeting/exceeding targets.


* Experience performing economic analysis of market opportunities.


* Full sales lifecycle experience.


* Experience working in a matrix organization.


* Willing and able to travel up to 50% of the time.


* Must have legal authorization to work permanently in the United States for any employer without requiring a visa transfer or visa sponsorship.
