EHS Manager

For this U.S.

based position, the expected compensation range is $80,000 - $129,960 per year, which includes base pay and short-term incentive.

The compensation range for this full-time position applies to candidates located within the United States.

Our salary ranges are determined by reviewing roles of similar responsibility and level.

Within the salary range, individual pay is determined by several factors including performance, knowledge, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

This role offers a unique opportunity to build and mature an EHS program at our Motivair Buffalo manufacturing location.

The Safety & Environment Manager will establish regulatory compliance and collaboratively implement Schneider Electric's industry-leading EHS initiatives.

This position is perfect for a proactive leader eager to make a meaningful impact while partnering with multi-disciplinary teams to foster a strong safety culture.

Objectives


* Ensure compliance with all applicable EHS regulations (State, Federal, and Schneider Electric standards).


* Develop and implement location-specific EHS programs and policies.


* Design and deliver training programs to build EHS awareness and capability.


* Lead incident/accident investigations and ensure timely corrective actions.


* Conduct EHS audits and risk assessments, collaborating with site teams.


* Act as the site's EHS point of contact for regulatory inquiries and permitting processes.


* Partner with facilities and operations teams to ensure fire and life safety controls are effective.


* Serve as a technical resource for management and lead the site safety committee.


* Contribute to Continuous Improvement, Lean, and 5S initiatives.


* Other duties as assigned to support the site's EHS evolution.
