Continuous Improvement / Process Engineer
Overall Responsibilities:
A process engineer designs, optimizes, and operates industrial processes to improve efficiency and quality.
They work in many industries, including manufacturing, food production, and petrochemicals.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Analyze and evaluate : Assess existing processes to identify bottlenecks and opportunities for improvement.
* Develop and implement : Create new processes and strategies, including safety procedures.
* Monitor and adjust : Use data to adjust variables like temperature, machine speed, and material input.
* Ensure compliance : Comply with environmental regulations and incorporate green engineering principles.
* Troubleshoot : Identify and resolve issues and conflicts
* Communicate : Articulate technical information to stakeholders, including non-technical team members
Characteristics and skills:
* Proven experience in automotive aftermarket, specifically WD aftermarket and E-commerce
* Strong oral and written communication skills
* Highly motivated with winning and positive attitude
* Ability to operate related office equipment, such as computers and copiers.
* Ability to work independently.
* Ability to anticipate work needs and interact professionally with customers.
* Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Educational and other requirements:
* bachelor's degree in engineering
* Experience with process simulations
* Knowledge of process engineering software packages, such as CAD or AutoCAD
* Familiarity with health and safety regulations
* Strong analytical and interpersonal skills
* Good practical experience with CAD or AutoCAD
* Must be an initiative-taker capable of working both independently, as well as part of a team.
* A true "collaborative" leader that embraces the idea that he/she is the "go-to" person.
