Real Property Coordinator
The County of Riverside's Facilities Management Department has an opportunity for a Real Property Coordinator who will be assigned to the Real Estate division in Riverside.
The Real Property Coordinator will play a critical role in managing real estate transactions and ensuring smooth operations within the property portfolio.
This position involves acquiring and selling properties, monitoring contracts, creating and managing purchase requisitions, and collaborating with Real Property Agents on leases and negotiations.
Competitive candidates will possess experience in escrow processing, title coordination, and leasing documentation.
Familiarity with Leasing Form-5 used for documenting lease agreements, renewals, and unit turnovers, is preferred.
Also, candidates who possess strong computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel, and Access are highly desired.
This position follows a 9/80 schedule, Monday through Friday, with every other Friday off.

Riverside County Department of Facilities Management provides property management and operations services for county owned and leased facilities throughout the 7,200 square miles of Riverside County and over 14 million square feet of space.
The department is responsible for keeping county buildings safe, comfortable and productive for both county staff and the public.• Monitors leaser's compliance with contract requirements; receives complaints on facility problems; negotiates work requests with landlord and tenants in leased facilities within scope of lease contract; coordinates between the leaser and the County department regarding discrepancies in facilities maintenance and maintenance work ordered; schedules inspections on leased properties; compiles and maintains current emergency phone numbers of all leasers; maintains a space bank file of all space leased to the county.
• Coordinates routing of lease requests and contracts through county approval process; compiles data on leases and prepares tabular reports and drafts narrative explanations of routine information; explains to departments what steps they must take to obtain non-contract changes to leased facilities; prepares routine amendments to existing leases; prepares renewals for multi-year leases.
• Prepares documentation in connection with eminent domain acquisitions for delivery to property owners.
• Initiates opening of escrows for real property acquisitions and sales; coordinates creation, execution of documents necessary to complete escrows with appropriate Real Property staff; prepares requests for warrants for acquisitions and coordinates delivery of funds to seller or escrow; monitors and prepares periodic reports on status of escrows; monitors and prepares reports of aging of billings and receipt of payments.
