Front Desk Receptionist, Inpatient Hospitals, PRN (As needed)

The Front Desk Receptionist will provide coverage of telephone and front desk duties.  Answer incoming calls in a prompt, courteous manner according to Brooks customer service quality standards.

Greet and assist visitors in a professional and efficient manner. 

Responsibilities: 


* Receives hospital guests, patients and vendors, ascertains their needs, and directs them appropriately.


* Courteously answers the phone and directs calls to the correct department or staff.


* Answers routine questions regarding departmental policies, operations and procedures.


* Checks appointment locations and directs guests to an appropriate office or departmental area.


* Completes assignments supporting Leadership by designated deadlines.


* Monitors patients and visitors in lobby area.


* Coordinates with Admissions, EVS, Facilities Department, and Security as appropriate.


* May perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:


* High school diploma.


* 1 year Customer Service experience. 


* 1 year of switchboard or phone experience. 


* Experience using Microsoft Office 365 preferred


* Ability to multitask

Location: Both Brooks Hospitals

                  Brooks Bartram Hospital, 6400 Brooks Bartram Dr, Jacksonville, FL 32258

                  Brooks University Hospital, 3599 University Blvd South, Jacksonville, FL 32216

Hours: PRN, As Needed.

Weekdays as well as weekends

Compensation: Experience, education and tenure may be considered along with internal equity when job offers are extended.
