Spare Parts Inventory Specialist

Job Description and Responsibilities
Join EVRAZ North America’s team in Pueblo, Colorado as a Spare Parts Inventory Specialist, where your expertise will drive operational efficiency and support our mission to deliver high-quality steel products.
In this role, you will manage and optimize our spare parts inventory, ensuring seamless production processes and minimizing downtime.
* Analyzes Spare Parts inventory for proper Min/Max Planning and obsolescence
* Works with Repair facility to properly prepare parts for shipment and long-term storage
* Initiates purchase orders and enters the orders into Oracle Procurement
* Generates new part inventory requests and location codes within Oracle, to comply with parts naming conventions established by EVRAZ to industry best standards. Checks in all shipments and compare to packing slips
* Ships out and tracks part returns to suppliers and repair facilities to ensure Critical and Capital Spare Parts are kept in ready state by assisting with with unloading and moving of maintenance items delivered to the receiving area
* Coordinates Repair Parts process by working with vendor to capture tear down inspection reports, track repair process, and track anticipated return to inventory timelines
* Develops spare parts kitting process to ensure parts are stocked in best way to minimize field repair timelines (Mean Time to Repair)
* Performs physical inventory of stocked parts once or more times a year by maintaining a computerized inventory system and preventative maintenance program
Requirements
* High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
* Journeyman Certification with 5 year Industrial Maintenance Repair Experience or 10 year equivalent Industrial Maintenance Repair Experience
* Valid driver’s license preferred
* Working knowledge of repair process and best practices
* Basic knowledge of lean manufacturing and manufacturing best practices and procurement best practices, preferred
* Ability to read technical drawings
* Strong computer skills in MS Office, MS Project, Oracle Procurement, and Oracle eAM (CMMS), preferred
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Strong independent judgment for solid decision making on rational analysis of data
Compensation
* $75K - $95K
