Job Description

Job Description:

Responsible for leading all Level 1, 2, & 3 IT Support Services personnel/teams across several operating locations.

Must understand and support computer needs for 3000+ end users across 5 Divisions and a headquarters support staff.

Helps translate enterprise needs into strategy, and then into action.

Collaborates closely with all areas of IT - i.e.

Applications, Infrastructure, & Cybersecurity - to ensure proper planning and implementation of IT activities.

Monitors and reports operational impact of IT service interruptions and outages to users.

Reports to the Senior Director of IT Operations.

Responsibilities & Tasks:


* Leads dynamic IT operations support and end user services teams across multiple time zones


* Establishes, documents, implements, and monitors processes that affect IT support to end users


* Ensures user endpoints are properly maintained, software updated, security patches applied, etc.


* Continuously improves and standardizes enterprise support services with industry best practices


* Provides and maintains audio/video (A/V) solutions for conference rooms at all sites


* Oversees a robust change management process, serving as the chair of the Change Advisory Board (CAB)


* Demonstrates excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills


* Proficient with productivity tools such as Microsoft Office, Teams, SharePoint, Planner, etc.


* Effectively manages IT budgets, equipment inventories, and vendor relationships


* Translates organizational goals and objectives into actionable plans


* Highly motivated with strong self-initiative

Qualifications

Education :


* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field


* Or equivalent years relevant experience

Experience


* 8-10+ years in functional information technology role(s)


* 5+ years managing technical teams


* 3+ years working around manufacturing operations


* Aerospace and Defense industry experience is highly desired


* Position requires ability to attain a government Secret security clearance.
