Probation Officer - Court of Common Pleas

The Lucas County Court of Common Pleas, General Division, is seeking a dedicated and motivated Probation Officer to join our team.

The primary responsibility of this position is group facilitation, utilizing the Decision Points curriculum.

The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting individuals on probation by leading and guiding them through structured group sessions, aimed at promoting positive behavioral change and rehabilitation.

While prior experience in probation or group facilitation is beneficial, it is not required.

The department will provide certification in the Decision Points curriculum upon hire, if applicable, to ensure that the right candidate is fully equipped for success in this role.
