Workout Support Specialist

Job Summary:

This position will be responsible for accurate and timely posting of auction, insurance and other proceeds related to repossessed equipment, insurance payouts and loan settlements.

In addition, the position will support TAB Bank’s Special Assets team in monitoring active bankruptcies and other litigation.

Responsibilities include case review and gathering required documentation to satisfy the requests of the bankruptcy court.

The position will also be responsible for maintaining public notice loan files.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:


* Understand bankruptcies and the impact of repossessing equipment when the borrower or guarantor files for bankruptcy protection


* Review Dockets for specific bankruptcy details and respond timely to document requests


* Work with in-house and external legal counsel as needed to gather loan documents as needed


* Scan all related documents consistent with TAB’s document retention requirements


* Verify all related expenses have been charged to the account


* Assist in clearing the Special Assets bancontrol account


* Complete other duties and assignments as needed

Education and Experience Requirements:


* Preference given to candidates with legal or contractual experience


* Experience working with installment loans


* 3-5 years of relevant experience


* Precision experience preferred

 Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Requirements:


* Ability to work independently, follow bank standards and meet timelines


* Knowledge of Precision loan posting, and maintenance preferred


* Customer service skills


* Multitasking


* Detail Oriented


* Demonstrated ability in communicating effectively, both verbally and written


* Proficient in Microsoft applications (Excel, Word, and Outlook) and aptitude for grasping and using various bank software applications
