IT Network Engineer
Job Summary
The Network Engineer is responsible for managing, maintaining, and optimizing the enterprise network infrastructure across multiple manufacturing and office locations.
This role ensures secure, scalable, and highly available network operations that support both IT and OT environments.
Leveraging Aruba and HPE networking technologies, the Network Engineer will play a key role in modernizing the network landscape, integrating cloud solutions, and advancing cybersecurity initiatives.
Reporting directly to the Infrastructure Manager, the Network Engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams—including Operations, IT Security, and Plant Engineering—to deliver resilient, high-performance network solutions that enable business continuity, digital transformation, and daily operational excellence.

* Configure, monitor, and maintain switches, wireless access points, and routers across distributed environments using Aruba Central and HPE networking platforms.
* Design and support LAN/WAN environments, inter-site connectivity, and VPN solutions to ensure high availability and performance across all sites.
* Implement and maintain network segmentation strategies for IT/OT separation and enforce NAC policies and Zero Trust access models.
* Utilize NMS tools (e.g., PRTG, SolarWinds) to monitor traffic, troubleshoot latency and packet loss, and ensure proactive response to incidents.
* Support the installation, configuration, and sustainment of end-user IT systems and services in alignment with corporate IT governance and lifecycle management practices
* Maintain and optimize enterprise wireless infrastructure using Aruba Wi-Fi technologies, including coverage tuning, SSID configuration, and role-based access.
* Provide networking expertise for IT projects including ERP/MES deployments, domain migrations, disaster recovery testing, and plant expansions.
* Support firewall rule changes, access control lists (ACLs), and VPN configurations in coordination with security teams and enterprise standards.
* Develop and maintain accurate IT documentation, including standard operating procedures (SOPs), knowledgebase articles, configuration baselines, and asset records
* Maintain detailed network diagrams, configuration backups, and change logs aligned with ITIL-based change management practices.
* Act as a Tier 3 escalation point for complex network issues and collaborate with cross-functional teams to support enterprise-wide initiatives.
* Participate in after-hours support rotation and ensure business continuity through resilient architecture and redundancy planning.
