Technical Support, MEA, Himel

Purpose of the job:

We are looking for a candidate that can make a positive impact on our projects' business in Middle East and Africa.

The Technical Support will support the Sales Team across Middle East and Africa in developing the Project's Channel & Retail through establishing and strengthening relationships with key Stakeholders in Public & Private Sector (including Governmental associations & Public Utilities).

The Technical Support will take ownership of specifying our products in Key Public Tenders in Key Markets and handle the whole Bidding process once the Tender is issued (with the coordination of back office in China).

The successful candidate will also drive Technical Support Activities across the responsible regions which includes organizing Training/Seminars to customers in different channels.

The ideal candidate is an experienced technical expert, with solid experience in the Electrical Market.

Job responsibilities:

1.

Provides technical support to the field sales force by bringing deep or specific configurate, convert an existing customer requirement to match Himel specification.

2.

Monitor and initiate certification process required locally in coordination with the Local sales and China team

3.

Conduct technical product comparison between Himel and other brands

4.

Manage customer complains and provide feedback to the factory

5.

Conduct technical training/ seminars and the like to customers, end users, universities, government office, etc.

6.

Onsite inspection, testing, troubleshooting and recommendation to customers

Qualifications

Essential Professional Experience:

1.

Can understand and interpret single line and wiring diagrams

2.

With technical and /or maintenance management experience

Desirable Qualifications

1.

Engineering background (panelbuilder, construction, design, field testing, etc)

2.

A wide network of contacts in the Electrical Market.

3.

Less than 5 years of relevant experience in a technical & tender management roles.

Regional Exposure in ME & Africa and basic understanding of the electrical markets' requirements.
5.

Worked in leading companies in the Electrical Industries.

Education background:


* BA/BS Engineering degree

Others:


* Frequent traveler (will be travelling at least 30% of his working time)


* Native language: Arabic, Fluent in English, French would be an advantage.


* Computer Skills: MS Office, 2D or 3D CAD
