Executive Underwriter, Commercial Insurance Specialty

JOB DESCRIPTION

As an Executive Underwriter, you will be responsible for driving the financial performance of a $7-10M book of upper-middle market, Property & Casualty business with a new business goal of $1.5M annually.

You will identify opportunities for growth, develop and execute strategies to capture new business, and enhance relationships with key producers and customers.

Core industries served include Manufacturing, Wholesale / Distribution, Professional Services, Cultural Institutions, Food Processing, and Real Estate.

Key Responsibilities:


* Drive new business growth, achieving an annual goal of $1.5M.


* Identify and capitalize on growth opportunities within existing and new production sources.


* Develop and implement a comprehensive business growth strategy.
Manage market penetration efforts and cultivate strong producer and customer relationships.


* Formulate agency strategies and goals, regularly monitoring progress.


* Identify cross-sell opportunities among our commercial product offerings.


* Evaluate and select risks in alignment with Chubb Commercial Insurance guidelines, ensuring thorough documentation.


* Negotiate pricing, coverage, and terms for new business and renewals while identifying account rounding opportunities.


* Present sales proposals to producers and clients, including product education and rollout of new offerings.


* Maintain consistent service standards while collecting and sharing industry insights.
