Regulatory Compliance Specialist I

In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring the Company's compliance with state and federal regulatory requirements while contributing to the development and implementation of regulatory processes and filings.

RESPONSIBILITIES:


* Regulatory Expertise: Maintain a broad and up-to-date knowledge of regulatory compliance requirements, focusing on state and federal regulatory agencies' policies and standards.


* Regulatory Filings: Facilitate internal coordination among cross-functional teams to provide documentation required for regulatory compliance filings in the electric utility sector.

Lead the preparation, review, and submission of regulatory filings, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.


* Process Development: Assist in the development and implementation of regulatory compliance processes and procedures in collaboration with internal stakeholders.


* Discovery Management: Facilitate and maintain regulatory discovery processes for strategic dockets, including general rate cases and integrated resource plans.


* Relationship Building: Cultivate and maintain effective working relationships with internal teams and external stakeholders, including regulatory agencies, advocacy groups, and other utilities.


* Policy Monitoring: Track and analyze regulatory changes and policies to assess their impact on the Company and identify priority compliance issues.


* Communication: Communicate regulatory compliance requirements and Company positions effectively to internal and external audiences.

REQUIRED EDUCATION:


* Bachelor's degree is required.
+ Preferred majors include business administration, public administration, political science, law, accounting, finance, or energy policy.
+ Candidates completing their degree by June 30, 2025 will be considered.
