Payroll Operations Analyst

As the Analyst, Payroll Operations at RXO, you will provide effective management of payroll processing for the company.

You will ensure compliance with regulations and support all customer inquiries.

What your day-to-day will look like:


* Manage payroll case inquiries and control center alert errors (weekly/bi-weekly).


* Process payroll adjustments, ACH changes/rejections, and final/special paychecks.


* Handle wage garnishments (child support, tax levies, etc.) via ADP Smart Compliance.


* Complete ROEs for terminated Canadian employees.


* Resolve payroll issues and respond to complex, confidential employee inquiries.


* Verify HCM data replication and maintain accuracy in the payroll system.


* Audit and update time & attendance records; support transition to Workday (Q4 2025-2026).


* Generate and customize timekeeping reports; monitor compliance with labor laws and union rules.


* Assist with timekeeping questions, system training, and issue resolution.


* Enter and verify compensation data (bonuses, allowances, non-recurring pay); manage mass uploads.


* Identify process improvements across payroll, timekeeping, and compensation operations.


* Collaborate cross-functionally with HR, IT, Finance, Legal, Benefits, and Compensation.


* Ensure data confidentiality and adhere to company security policies.


* Support additional payroll and administrative tasks as needed.

What you’ll need to excel:

At a minimum, you’ll need:


* Bachelor's degree or equivalent related work or military experience



* 2 years of multi-corporation, multi-state payroll processing or operations experience.

It’d be great if you also have:


* Experience with Workday Payroll, Oracle, Kronos, ADP Garnishments, SAP, and Microsoft Office.


* CPP certification


* Strong analytical and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.


* Proven problem-solving ability in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.


* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; comfortable interacting across all levels, including legal and executive teams.


* Professional, collaborative, and solutions-focused approach to resolving payroll issues.
