The Senior Compound Market Access Leader (SCMAL) is a career pathway and talent advancement opportunity to lead the strategic planning and implementation of the payer value generation and access strategies for innovative medicines in early development to commercialization.

The position resides in the Neuroscience Therapeutic Area of the Global Commercial Strategy Organization and reports to VP of Market Access for Neuroscience.

 For the assigned therapeutic area, the SCMAL serves as the leading resource on access strategies and is an active member of the global clinical and commercial product teams, as well as the disease area strategy teams.

They will be responsible for integrating pricing, market and payer research, health economics and epidemiology information to develop the optimal global value strategy.

The SCMAL will be responsible for the following activities in their disease area:

Market Access Strategy:


* Leads the Compound Market Access Team (CMAT) across parallel indications, which includes the core functions within Global Market Access (i.e., Health Economics, Patient Reported Outcomes [PRO], Access Policy, Pricing, Real-World Evidence & Analytics) to deliver the global market access strategy & key value communication tools for the brand. 


* Design, develop and implement an integrated approach to all aspects of the payer value proposition from early development through and beyond loss of exclusivity for a complex portfolio of compounds and indications.


* Responsible for the strategic planning and implementation of the payer value generation and access strategies.
