As Process Engineer you will provide technical support, development and control to Askar Tissue Manufacturing Plant.

Maintains the highest level of productivity and profitability while maintaining acceptable safety and quality levels. 

In this role you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and improving processes involved in converting tissue paper into finished products, such as toilet paper, paper towels, and facial tissues.

Key responsibilities: 


* Safety: Enhance the Occupational Health and Safety Standards and SOPs to meet the standards of local and international requirements, while guaranteeing compliance with safety regulations and company policies.

It involves performing safety audits, identifying potential hazards, and executing required corrective actions. 



* Quality Control: Ensuring that finished products meet quality standards by monitoring and testing production samples.

This may include developing quality control plans, analyzing test results, and making recommendations for improvements. 



* Process Design: Designing and implementing manufacturing processes that meet production goals, quality standards, and safety requirements. 



* Process Improvement: Identifying and analysing process inefficiencies and developing strategies to improve productivity, reduce waste, minimize downtime, and improve product quality.

This may involve analysing production data, identifying bottlenecks, and implementing KC best practices. 



* Data analysis: Collect and analyse data to identify trends, improve processes, and optimize efficiency.

Use statistical analysis tools to monitor process performance and identify areas for improvement.



* Documentation: Maintaining detailed documentation of processes, procedures, and equipment specifications.

This includes creating standard operating procedures (SOPs), and work instructions, and securing the equipment manual. 

In addition to these responsibilities, the process engineer needs to work closely with cross-functional teams, such as production, quality control, R&E, Marketing, CA, and maintenance, to ensure that all aspects of the converting process are aligned and operating efficiently.
