Purpose:

The Advanced R&D, Senior Engineer will develop concepts, designs, and details for products, machines, tools, fixtures, and test methods for cardiovascular electrophysiology devices.

Additionally, they are to identify, evaluate, and drive the product development activities of reprocessed medical devices for the healthcare industry in collaboration with the engineering development and product management teams.

Provides engineering and design services to manufacturing and production engineering groups.

You will be responsible for:



* Develop and validate methods for reprocessing of assigned devices.


* Designs new devices based upon customer need.


* Performs complex hands-on and simulated testing for design verification and test method developments.


* Reviews and edits all engineering documentation related to assigned projects, such as technical reports, work instructions and method and process validation.


* Leads basic engineering operations, and complex scientific evaluation on new products, technology concepts, and product development.


* Proposes and determines new or improved technologies to enhance product quality,


* manufacturing cost efficiencies, personnel safety and regulatory compliance.


* Implements complex design concepts and ideas into working blueprints and drawings.
