Warehouse and Assembly Worker
Bray Process Controls is seeking a candidate with experience in shipping and receiving products using an ERP system, including managing bin locations and conducting cycle counting.
A solid working knowledge of Microsoft platforms (such as Excel, Outlook, and Word) is required.
Experience with valve automation is a plus, but we are also open to candidates who are mechanically inclined and comfortable working with their hands.
If you're new to valve automation, don't worry—we will provide training to help you develop this new skill.
Key Responsibilities:
1.
ERP System (Enterprise Resource Planning):
The role involves working with an ERP system, which is used to manage and automate core business processes such as inventory, order processing, and shipping.
This typically includes updating product data, tracking shipments, and managing product stock levels in real-time.
2.
Bin Locations and Cycle Counting:
The individual will likely be responsible for ensuring that products are properly stored in designated bin locations within a warehouse or inventory management system.
Cycle counting is a method for periodically counting a portion of inventory to ensure its accuracy without shutting down operations for a full stock take.
3.
Shipping and Receiving:
The role likely involves overseeing or participating in the shipping and receiving process, ensuring products are efficiently moved in and out of the warehouse.
This could also include working with logistics teams to ensure timely and accurate deliveries.
4.
Microsoft Platforms:
A working knowledge of Microsoft tools (e.g., Excel, Outlook, Word, and possibly Access) is important.
These tools are often used for inventory management, reporting, and communication within businesses.
5.
Valve Automation (Preferred):
Experience with valve automation might involve familiarity with automated systems used in industries such as oil and gas, manufacturing, or water treatment.
However, this is described as a "plus," meaning it’s not a strict requirement.
6.
Mechanical Inclination (and Training Provided):
If you're mechanically inclined and able to work with your hands, you'll be trained in valve automation and other relevant skills.
This implies that while the job may have a mechanical or technical component, there's room for growth and learning.
Qualifications & Requirements:
* Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
* Experience: Minimum 2 years in warehouse operations, shipping/receiving, inventory management, or materials handling.
* Certification: Stand-up Reach Truck Operator certification preferred.
* Technical Skills: Experience using ERP systems and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word).
* License: Must have a valid driver’s license in good standing.
