Position Summary

Responsible for independently applying advanced scheduling and planning techniques and analysis within a project environment.

Primary Responsibilities

• Perform all aspects of planning/scheduling

• Monitor job progress according to schedules

• Coordinate with material expediters concerning critical items of supply

• Participation in expenditure forecasts

• Perform schedule analysis

• Coordinate PM activities to production requirements

• Schedule Maintenance in a way that minimizes equipment downtime and impact on production

• Create maintenance schedules & generate work orders

• Maintain parts inventory

• Create procedural manuals that explain how to do certain tasks

• Estimate costs of labor & parts for industrial equipment

• Adjust schedules to account for emergency work

• Assist & support Maintenance Manager

• Serve as a liaison between maintenance & operations

• Maintain records & files essential to maintenance management

• Coordinate with maintenance staff, contractors and external vendors

• Prepare preventative maintenance plans that are aligned with the organization's maintenance goals

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years industrial construction/maintenance industry experience (if no school)

• User of SAP Excel and Word

• Some knowledge of scheduling tools - SAP/P3/P6/Microsoft Projects

• Has Craft knowledge and understanding of task sequencing
