JOB SUMMARY

Responsible for implementing and maintaining the quality system.

DUTIES & ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS


* Implementing methods to inspect, test and evaluate products and production equipment


* Ensuring that products adhere to quality standards


* Preparing reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data


* Implement and maintain ISO9001:2015 standard


* Implement and maintain 5S activities

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS


* Familiarity with quality standards and processes to follow federal, state and local regulations


* Communication skills to convey information in reports, meetings and status reports


* Knowledge of the product to perform accurate quality control


* Attention to detail


* Analysis, critical-thinking and problem-solving skills to review systems, find flaws and post solutions to those flaws


* Interpersonal skills


* Ability to handle stress


* Ability to operate under deadlines while still meeting standards


* Computer skills including Microsoft Office


* Able to lead root cause analysis investigations


* 5 years of prior manufacturing quality control experience (preferred)


* ISO9001 certified auditor (preferred)

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS


* Ability to stand or walk for extended periods of time


* Occasional squatting, kneeling, bending and stooping


* Lifting, carrying, pulling, and pushing up to 25lbs

SAFETY REQUIREMENTS


* Safety glasses


* Hearing protection available


* Steel toe shoes in plant
