Sales & Operations Manager for Airfreight Perishables

Who are we looking for?

We will continue our journey, and therefore the right candidate also needs the following:

• Act as the leader who takes the DHL standards to create the best work atmosphere.

• At least 3 years of experience in sales and operations from Perishable Airfreight logistics.

• Strong understanding of finance, including month-end closing.

• Skills in capacity and risk calculation.

• Experience in team setup and ensuring personal responsibility.

• Proven high sales achievements.

• Expertise in tender processes and Key Account Management.

• Ability to develop new solutions and balance customer expectations.

What will you do?

• Manage and oversee operations for perishable airfreight shipments, with fresh salmon being the main export product.

• Develop and maintain relationships with key partners.

• Act as a subject matter expert and ensure customer requirements are met.

• Drive sales initiatives and strategies.

• Ensure compliance with regulations and quality standards.

• Conduct financial management and month-end closing.

• Assess and manage capacity and risks.

• Set up teams and ensure personal responsibility.

• Achieve high sales performance.

• Work with tender processes and manage large customers.

• Develop new routes and balance customer expectations.

• Be a member of the extended management team for Norway.

Must have Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and have approved extended police certificate / approval from the Civil Aviation Authority (Luftfartstilsynet).
