Emergency Response Agent (Part-Time)

The Emergency Response Agent located on-site with a specific client, will be responsible for security management, developing, executing, and measuring all corporate security programs, and third-party contributors.

The Emergency Response Agent will serve as an embedded physical security agent during client events and services, and as a primary subject matter expert and liaison for law enforcement, security regulatory agencies, and vendors.

The schedule is 1st and 3rd Fridays of the month from 6 pm-10 pm and some holidays.

Essential Functions:

1.

Represent Pinkerton's core values of integrity, vigilance, and excellence.

Develop strategies to identify, assess, prevent, protect and mitigate all risks, threats and vulnerabilities to safeguard people, assets, product and property
3.

Establish ongoing communication with senior leadership on the status of security issues, evolving risks and related recommendations.
4.

Support leadership in the development and maintenance of business continuity and crisis management/incident command programs; including planning and conducting exercises with first responders.
5.

Establish and maintain proactive relationships with appropriate government and law enforcement agencies.
6.

Provide close protection and other security-related functions for the client's campus assignments;
+ Lead counter surveillance operations.
+ Perform protective advance planning and threat vulnerability assessments.
+ Respond to emergencies and perform medical operations, as needed.
7.

Deescalate tense situations or individuals that arise at the client's campus and/or events;
+ Communicate vulnerabilities or safety concerns in a timely manner.
8.

Complete suspicious activity reports, incident reports.

shift logs, pattern of life reports, medical treatment reports, and other administrative requirements.
9.

Assist with protection schedules and team assignments, as directed.
10.

Operate and maintain protective, operations, and communications equipment;
+ Promptly identify and escalate deficiencies/failures.
11.

Monitor and stay current with security-related practices and technology.
12.

All other duties, as assigned.

Education, Experience, and Certifications:

Bachelor's degree and ten or more years of security management experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to perform the essential functions of the job, as determined by the company.

Law enforcement with a community policing background and/or security management experience is preferred.

Current WA State Armed PI License.
