Position Description:

Lead and manage the operations of Clinton product recovery department.

The Director is responsible for the activities to optimize the AH product recovery processes and systems, including safety, compliance, cost management, energy efficiency and process control issues.

Incumbent is responsible for direct supervision of 8-10 employees and has a total staff of approximately 30 employees.

Minimum Qualification (education, experience and/or training, required certifications):


* General knowledge of unit operations and current in Good Manufacturing Practices is required. 


* Proven track record of leadership assignments in a regulated, manufacturing environment.


* Communicate effectively (verbal, listening, writing) with all levels of personnel throughout the site.


* Recognized leadership skills in project administration and other areas of team activity (cross-functional team leadership, participation, etc.).


* Must have excellent people skills, especially mentoring/coaching. 


* Ability to solve problems using data and make decisions independently.


* BS or MS in a technical discipline (i.e., engineering or chemistry) or equivalent work experience.


* 5+ years' experience in a manufacturing environment.

Additional Preferences:


* Must have good computer skills and understand how to effectively use SAP, MS Outlook, CAPA event/change management and software programs such as Word, Excel, etc.
