Job Summary: 

 

We are currently looking for Soil Sorters , at our Madison, TN Healthcare Laundry facility.  We are looking for someone who is confident in decision making, can act quickly, and has excellent communication skills.   If you are ready to make a commitment to measurable performance and continuous improvements, then we want to hear from you!

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES:  


* Primary responsibility is for performing tasks in any of the production function areas in accordance with Novo Health Services Standard Operating Procedures.

Tasks include but are not limited to soiled linen separation, hand folding, ironing, operating washing and drying equipment and load building.

May perform some or all of the following duties depending on training and experience.


* Adhere to all quality standards associated with the different tasks.


* Understand, observe and adhere to all Novo Health Services safety procedures and Standard Operating procedures associated with the different tasks.


* Assist in any other areas as directed by team leader or management.


* Perform other duties as required.

WORKING CONDITIONS:   Work is performed in a fast-paced indoor production area with little exposure to dust and high temperatures; moderate exposure to noise; climate-controlled environment; controlled access.
