The Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia is seeking an undergraduate level (Senior) or graduate student with preferred majors in Economics, Statistics, Data Science or similar quantitative fields.  This opening is onsite and will consider hybrid candidates as well.  The work schedule is Monday – Friday (40 hour per week).  This is a 10-week paid internship.  The hourly rate for this position is $21.00-$25.00 per hour depending on the candidate's level of education.  

Intern projects:

The goal of this project is to develop a framework that would allow real-time monitoring of stress propagation in times of banking crises.

Our framework will leverage and aggregate different sources of real-time information in order to construct measures of bank risk and risk propagation.

Required Skills:


* Knowledge of a programming or statistical language will be useful.

Preferred languages include R, Stata or Python.

Preferred Competencies:


* Problem solving skills, creativity, attention to detail.
