Technical Intern 3

Join our team of electrical, mechanical, software and system engineers and scientists to develop the latest technology in the Integrated Products Division (IPD) of Applied Research Associates (ARA), Inc.  Our interns are valued members of the team, tasked with work that is critical to the success of our projects.  Project tasks for this internship will include analysis, development, validation, and documentation for Robotic systems, including Autonomous Vehicle systems, supporting delivery to meet ARA customer requirements.  Tasks will include development of experimental prototypes and modeling/simulation environments to support proof of concept demonstrations.

Capture and analysis from studies conducted on these will serve to guide direction for the engineers and scientists progressing technologies through product development phases.

Examples of project related activities may involve studies on multi-DoF robotic vehicle simulation rigs, assessment of robotic arm capabilities, or research on microrobotics systems – all targeted to advance the technology and product portfolio for ARA.

This Technical Intern position is to directly support the IPD Advanced Technology team in development and evolution of advanced sensor and robotic systems targeted for customer applications.

This is a paid, full-time internship opportunity.

Due to the nature of the work, qualified candidates must be U.S.

Citizens.
