Essential Functions:

Monitors and tracks health services complaints and grievances from employees and/or families.
Attends training and orientation activities for health advocate programs; contributes to planning, implementation, and evaluation of health advocate programs and events; and attends periodic health-related meetings as necessary.
Serves as a spokesperson for DeKalb County’s health advocate role and Risk Management division as needed.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in a Public Health, Healthcare Administration, or related field required; three years of experience in a health-related field; or any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience which provides the requisite knowledge, skills, and abilities for this job.
Specific License or Certification Required: Must possess and maintain a valid Georgia driver’s license.

The Brooks Rehabilitation Institute of Higher Learning is seeking orthopaedic residents to join the 2024-2025 Residency cohort.
All residents are employed as full-time staff therapists within Brooks Rehabilitation while enrolled in the program.
The yearlong training consists of three components of learning that include didactic/psychomotor classes, clinical mentoring, and directed learning activities.
Clinical mentoring is the backbone of our program, and thus all residents will receive 150 hours of 1:1 mentoring while in the program.

Applicants to the Brooks Orthopaedic Residency Program:
* Must graduate from a CAPTE accredited PT program.

* Must meet all eligibility requirements to be employed as a practicing Physical Therapist within Brooks Rehabilitation.
