Job Summary

Job Responsibilities
* Operate stretch wrap machines, film roll up-enders, and extended boom arm forklift equipment
* Organize product in the yard according to inventory procedures
* Safely load product onto and unload product from flatbeds and box trailers
* Validate packing slips, ship tickets, and other delivery documentation by auditing, recording and interpreting shipping documentation, weights & measures, labels and production schedules
Job Requirements
* At least 2 years' experience operating 6,000 lb forklift in an outdoor yard environment

What you can expect
* $27.00/hour or more based on experience

What you will do
* Travel in the field and jobsites and work in the shop as needed (CDL a plus)
* Plans work procedure and/or possible solutions such as part redesign, substitution of material or parts, or rearrangement of parts or subassemblies in conjunction with Equipment Superintendent
* Trouble shoot and maintain all types of heavy equipment including dump trucks, pavers, reclaim and milling machines, loaders, graders, dozers, pavers and rollers

* Ensure engagement of equipment team in all safety best practices, ensure compliance with all company policies and safety rules

Position Overview
This position involves daily operation and driving of a tractor-trailer combination or a single, double or tri-axel vehicle.
Driver will be responsible to load and unload the truck.
Requires commercial drivers' license.
Under direction of the Driver Manager by performing the following duties.
Primary Function:
* Perform daily pre/post trip inspections with appropriate documentation in compliance with DOT guidelines and company policies
* Obey applicable laws and follow dispatch instructions
* Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions, following signals from loading crew and checking that vehicle and loading equipment are properly positioned.
Depending on materials hauled, may require unloading of contents by hand or shovel
* Must keep truck in a clean and orderly condition
* Maintain logs of working hours or of vehicle service or repair status, following applicable state and federal regulations.
* Inventory and inspect goods to be moved to determine quantities and conditions.
* Completing, storing, and submitting all necessary documentation.
* Report vehicle defects, accidents, traffic violations, or damage to the vehicles.
Other requierments:
* Ability to obtain DOT Medical Card through Company.
* Display a professional and courteous attitude to co-workers, supervisors, and the general public at all times.
* Wear personal protective equipment (PPE) in designated operations and production areas as stated by OSHA and / or MSHA.
* Maintain current driver's license that meets state requirement i.e.
CDL, Class A and/or B, and if any endorsements.
* Have a MVR that meets company standards.
* Be able to work independently, safely, have strong organization skills, and have a strong work ethic.
* Willingness to work in a team environment and assist co-workers or supervisors with other duties as required.
Qualifications:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
