SUMMARY:
The primary responsibility of the Warehouse Associate is to participate in daily warehouse operations and activities, including the receipt, documentation, storage, safety, and distribution of equipment and supplies, and maintenance of inventory.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Insurance Authorization Coordinator I is responsible for obtaining authorizations for hospital-based and/or physician-based services.
The Coordinator utilizes work queues & other mechanisms to initiate the authorization and/or referral, follow-up, monitor appointments add-ons, and document any changes available for the initial authorization and/or referral request.
Authorizations/Referrals for services are to be completed based on the departmental goals and guidelines set.
The position is required to utilize all available resources to verify eligibility, authorization requirements and plan benefit levels.
Detailed benefit collection process to ensure capture of patient responsibility to include all financial out to pocket cost to patient/parent.
Process supports and ensures more accurate financial collections.
Primary Responsibilities:
Authorization Coordination: Ability to request and obtain preauthorization for assigned specialties and ability to cover for other workflows including workqueue items.
This will involve submitting required documentation, following up on requests to ensuring timely approvals.
Ensure request for authorizations and notifications are worked timely and handled in accordance with departmental policy and payer requirements.

Insurance Verification: Verify patients' insurance coverage, eligibility, demographics, benefits and financial responsibility to determine if prior authorization is required for specific medical procedures or treatments; additionally any predetermination requirements to ensure proper payment for service to support collection accuracy & efforts.
Policy Knowledge: Stay up to date with insurance policies, guidelines, and procedures related to authorization and reimbursement processes.
This includes understanding specific requirements for different insurance companies and their medical coverage policies.
Properly process appointment or appt add-ons, changes to previously scheduled services, date changes, and or impactful service changes in need of immediate review.
Follow administrative review process if a service does not have an insurance authorization outside of the department's standard timeframe.
Communication: Communicate with patients, their families, and healthcare professionals to provide updates on the status of authorization requests, address questions or concerns, and ensure a smooth process for all parties involved.
Promptly review clinical documentation for necessary information to submit to the payer along with authorization request.
Documentation and Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate and detailed records of authorization requests, approvals, denials, and any related correspondence.
This includes documenting patient information, insurance details, and the authorization process itself.

Nemours is seeking an Orthopedic Tech I (Full-Time), to join our Nemours Children's Health team in Lakeland, Florida.
Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00AM - 4:30PM.
Occasional travel requirements to all satellite locations.
This position is responsible for:
All casting procedures and application/approval of soft goods.
To provide assistance to the provider whenever needed, to expedite the patient care process.
* Responsible for all casting and Orthopedic equipment.
+ Application and removal of all types of casts, splints and soft goods.
Modify casts as needed in clinic and in hospital when necessary for the patient benefit.
+ Instruct patient, parents/legal guardians in appropriate use and care of casts and Orthopedic equipment.
+ Responsible for inventory of all casting materials, splints and soft goods.
* Skills
+ Ability to verbalize descriptions of Orthopedic conditions with basic understanding of anatomical structures and relationships with one another.
+ Ability to apply, adjust, and remove all common orthopedic devices, using a manual or standard practice as a guide.
+ Knowledge of theory and application of skin or skeletal traction.
+ Knowledge of the proper application of aseptic techniques in dressing change, removal of sutures or staples and in setting up surgical fields.
+ Ability to interpret simple fractures and dislocations on X-ray films.
+ Ability to perform in an operating room environment as first and second assistant or scrub technician under the direct supervision of a surgeon.
+ Ability to supervise and train other certified, eligible Orthopedic Technologists.

* High School Diploma required.
Specialized (1 year of training beyond high school).
* Minimum of one (1) to three (3) years' experience required.

Nemours Children's Hospital, Florida is seeking a Pediatric Interventional Radiologist to work at our free-standing children's hospital in Orlando.
We have dedicated single and bi-plane rooms with support from a dedicated Anesthesia team, 4 Interventional Radiology techs and 2 APPs.
We are currently in the process of an expansion which will double the square footage of the division, allowing ample room for our two magnets.
Nemours Radiology is one of the largest pediatric radiology groups in the United States, currently composed of 46 pediatric radiologists, growing to over 50 in 2026, working together to provide state-of-the-art diagnostic and interventional radiology services at our locations in Delaware, Florida, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania.
In 2025, we are on track to preform 500,000 imaging examinations across the growing system.
